MY MINDS WEAPON Signs With DRAKKAR ENTERTAINMENT

Drakkar Entertainment has announced the signing of the Scottish band MY MINDS WEAPON. The quintet from Edinburgh is considered one of the great metal hopefuls in the UK and immediately wowed the company from Witten, Germany, which has made a name for itself with acts such as NIGHTWISH, KREATOR and LORDI and is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary soon.

Commented Drakkar label boss Marius Kopec: "MY MINDS WEAPON are among the new league of British metal acts which impress their audience with demanding artistic standards, intelligent lyrics and amazing perfection. MY MINDS WEAPON's music is sinister, oppressive, technical — their crude mix of tech metal and metalcore in combination with a tremendous atmospheric density really impressed me."

MY MINDS WEAPON's new album, "The Carrion Sky" will be released by Drakkar Records and their distribution partners on November 28 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Italy and by Basick Records in the UK.
